Meen Imposter is the operator of this game and website.
What we collect
During a game we process display names you choose, room codes, answers and votes for the round, scores, and technical data needed to run the service (such as a shortened IP address and browser type for security and abuse prevention). We remember your language preference in your browser so pages open in Arabic or English. We do not ask you to create an account or provide payment details to play.
Why we use your data
We use this information to host game sessions, match players to rooms, show results on the host screen, prevent misuse, keep the service reliable, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal bases
Where applicable (for example in the UK or EEA), we rely on performance of the game service you request and our legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention. Depending on where you live, national laws such as Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law, UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, or Egypt’s data protection rules may also apply to how we handle your information.
How long we keep data
Game session data (player names, answers, votes, and scores) is deleted after about 15 minutes without activity in a room, and within about 2 hours after a game ends. Backup copies used for recovery are removed within about 24 hours.
Who we share with
We share data only with infrastructure providers that help us run the website (hosting, content delivery, and security). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.
International transfers
Data may be processed on hosting infrastructure operated by trusted providers, which can be located outside your country. We use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards when data is transferred internationally.
Cookies and similar storage
We use strictly necessary storage to remember your language choice and to route you to the right locale. We do not use advertising cookies on the core game experience. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy before enabling them.
Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, use the game only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
